Şişecam Tentesol and Tentesol Titanium are the reflective solar control glasses of Şişecam Flat Glass. They are also described as environmental control glasses: they control the excessive brightness or radiant heat of the sun's rays, provide visual integrity by concealing background construction elements in façade cladding, restrict the view from the side where the light is more intense, and add colour to buildings.
Solar control glasses provide indoor comfort and savings on cooling costs by controlling the reflection, transmission and absorption characteristics in the infrared and ultraviolet regions of solar energy. Şişecam Tentesol can be incorporated into double-glazing systems and can also be used as a single pane.
